8th Grade Capitol Field Trip
Geography Bee Winner
The 2016 Bull Run Middle School Geography Bee final round was held on Tuesday, January 19th and the winner was Paul H. who  was able to answer tough questions in seven categories of information relating to geography. Paul was able to outlast the other seven competitors and then took the test to see if he qualifies to compete at the state round. If Paul is one of the top one hundred finishers he will go on to compete at the national level.


Spelling Bee Winners
Congratulations to our Spelling Bee Champion, 7th grader Aditi and Runner-up, 8th grader Patrick. Aditi will compete in the Prince William County Regional Bee on March 11th. Bull Run wishes her the best of luck!
Science Fair Winners
The 2016 Science Fair was a wonderful display of projects.  The students' hard work and effort created some outstanding scientific discoveries.  The top two winners for each category will go on to represent Bull Run Middle at the Regional Fair in march. FREE Youth Summit
All middle and high school students and parents are invited to a FREE Youth Summit to be held at Forest Park High School in Woodbridge, VA on Saturday, March 19th from 8 am - 3 pm.  Students will participate in informative, interactive workshops on issues facing youth today, and there will be a separate workshop for parents.  For more information, please click here, or to register, go to www.pwcyouthsummit.com. 
Girls + Math + Science = Success!
The "Girls + Math + Science = SUCCESS!" conference will be held on Saturday, April 2 from 8 a.m. - noon at Marsteller Middle School. Coordinated by SPARK, the PWCS Education Foundation, and the Woodbridge branch of the American Association of University Women, the conference targets students in grades 5 - 12 who are interested in careers in math, science, or technology. The conference is also open to interested parents and teachers. Details and registration information are available at all PWCS schools and at successconference.net.
The $6 student conference fee ($9 for adults/parents) covers preordered materials and a souvenir t-shirt, so register early to be assured of attendance. Register using the Girls + Math + Science = Success! Conference flyer.

Office 365 for Students
All students who attended BRMS last year can continue to use their Microsoft Office 365 accounts. With this account, students have access to email as well as online versions of MS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, and OneNote which they can utilize at school or at home. In addition, students will have 5 licenses to download MS Office 2013 on their home computers, laptops, cell phones, and/or tablets.

If students are new to Bull Run and need to establish a 365 account, or if they have forgotten their username or password from last year, they can see Mrs. Elam in the library for assistance, or email ElamJL@pwcs.edu.

Walker/Parent Pick Up Pass

Attendance Line
Bull Run Middle School has an automated Attendance Phone Line that you can use to call in any student absences. Simply dial 703-753-7125, and leave a message including the first and last name of the student (with spelling), the student's grade level, your relationship to the student, and reason for missing school. If your student is out sick, please indicate the doctor’s diagnosis or the symptoms your student is having. Thank you! 

Parent Portal
Bull Run Middle School staff members are available to collect parent portal forms in the front office between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Parents need to show a photo id and give the signed form (emailed to them within 3 days of initial registration) to a front office staff member to have their account activated.  More information on this process can be found by clicking on the "Parent Portal" tab on the left side of the front page of this website.
