Art Show Pics - Part 1
Congratulations, Ms. Fermo!
Congratulations to Ms.Cathy Fermo who has been selected as the 2015 Prince William County Regional Counselor Association Counselor of the Year. Ms. Fermo has been a counselor at BRMS for four years, coming to us with ten years of experience. She is an active member of the PWCS Critical Incident Team and trainer and sponsor of the Olweus Bullying Prevention Program as well as the sponsor of our MAC (Make a Change) program. While at BRMS, Ms. Fermo has trained our MAC students to conduct successful SOAR lessons in our sixth and seventh grade classrooms. Ms. Fermo’s dedication to her students is apparent to everyone and her kind and caring concern for students and staff makes this award well deserved!

Calling All Rising Bull Run 6th Grade Students!
Bull Run Middle School is looking for students to join the 6th Grade Eagle Beginner Band! Students do not need to have any previous experience in band to join, and classes are held during the regular school day. Band is an exciting and fun way to learn an instrument, perform new music and make new friends in middle school!

Mr. Malechek, the band director, will be holding four evening instrument test sessions. These sessions will allow your student to try out several different instruments, and pick an instrument that they will enjoy and help ensure their success in band. Students can choose from such exciting instruments as tuba, trombone, baritone, clarinet, flute, percussion, trumpet, and saxophone. All rising 6th graders are welcome to come out, as well as join the Bull Run band program.

Sessions will be held on the following evenings:
Tuesday, April 28th
Thursday, May 7th
Tuesday, May 12th
Monday, June 8th

All sessions will be held from 6:30-8:30 PM in the Bull Run Middle School Band Room. Please feel free to contact Mr. Malechek at malechmc@pwcs.edu with any questions.
