Talent Show
Talent Show Auditions will be held on April 9th and 16th in Mrs. Spriggs' chorus room from 3:00 - 4:15.  If you would like to audition, please click here to download the permission slip.  All permission slips are due to Mrs. Bjork in Room 1410 by Tuesday, April 7th.
Summer School Applications
Attention 8th graders! Applications for summer school are now available in the counseling office! Please pick one up and complete as soon as possible if you plan to take PE over the summer. The online application for VHS PE (online course) will be open on April 9th and there will be an information night at Hylton HS on April 8th from 7-8pm. Please see Ms. Fermo if you have any questions.
PWCS All County Fine Arts Festival
The 2015 PWCS All County Fine Arts Festival will be held at Patriot High School on April 18th from 10 am - 4 pm.  For more information, please click here.

"Special Focus" Special Education Newsletter

Summer Art Enrichment 2015

Office 365 for Students
All students have now activated their Microsoft Office 365 accounts. With this account, students will have access to email as well as online versions of MS Word, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, and OneNote which they can utilize at school or at home. In addition, students will have 5 licenses to download MS Office 2013 on their home computers, laptops, cell phones, and/or tablets. Parent Information Night for Rising 8th Graders

Dodging Heart Disease
The American Heart Association Event "Dodging Heart Disease" will be held on Friday, June 5th from 3-6 pm.  Teams will be made up of 6 players, with a minimum $15 donation per player.  If you are interested in competing, get your teams turned into Mr. Denne or Mr. Puhlick by June 3rd.
Yearbook Presales Continue
Yearbook presales are now underway.  The 2015 BRMS yearbook costs $30.  Pre-ordering a yearbook guarantees that you receive a book.  Print off an order form here and follow the directions on the form.

Attendance Line
Bull Run Middle School has an automated Attendance Phone Line that you can use to call in any student absences. Simply dial 703-753-7125, and leave a message including the first and last name of the student (with spelling), the student's grade level, your relationship to the student, and reason for missing school. If your student is out sick, please indicate the doctor’s diagnosis or the symptoms your student is having. Thank you! 

Parent Portal
Bull Run Middle School staff members are available to collect parent portal forms in the front office between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Parents need to show a photo id and give the signed form (emailed to them within 3 days of initial registration) to a front office staff member to have their account activated.  More information on this process can be found by clicking on the "Parent Portal" tab on the left side of the front page of this website.
